I was having a scuba diving trip in Caribbean therefore I invested in this certain camera. This is actually my first review of the product. The cam was so impressing, I decided to do one. For us to use it underwater, we also bought an underwater case. I consider myself as merely a recreational photographer who takes photos of kids, sports-related activities, and even hobbies. The 1400 is amazing that it can take pictures of underwater creatures between 1 ft up to 100 ft depth. There are images which I think can be published. There are little blue pics while some pics turned out very good.

Based from what I heard, due to lots of variables, underwater photography is somewhat difficult to practice. There are times I change the settings quickly whenever my first shot is blurred then the next shot isn't. 99.9% of the pictures I took as I chase fishes and stingrays were clear and not blurry. With it being a point-and-shoot, you can't ask for more. Colors seem very real if photography is done indoors as yellow tints are not visible. The picture of the kids I took around the dinner table with a big window beside it ended up great. In the past, a consequence of the lighting coming right out of the window normally gives dark images. As when out in the open, the pictures are surely beautiful.
